Ronny and the Rockits were Born in the spirit of the 1950's Chicago blues and l960's Soul and R&B music, "The Rockits" have crafted their powerhouse R&B style by fusing the styles of our local Chicago heroes, as well as our national treasures. Some of our local heroes are the Chess Artists Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, & Willie Dixon. Other local influences include Earl Hooker, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Magic Sam, & Bo Diddley.

Included among our National Treasures are the three Kings... B.B., Albert, & Freddy, Albert Collins, & The Stax Soul Machine in Memphis, Tn. Among the artists at Stax were Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, & especially the Stax "house band" Booker T. & the M.G.'s.

Of our influences that were influenced by these Legends are included Jimi Hendrix and Texans Stevie Ray Vaughn and Z.Z. Top. And for his love of The Blues and R&B and for his style the King himself Mr. Elvis Presley.

Ronny, Rich, Steve & Mark come together as Ronny & the Rockits to pay tribute these and a wide variety of other artists. The Rockits have blended their influences into what has become Powerhouse Blues, Soul, & Rock-n-Roll!
